As from 1 November 2008, Blue Water is represented with two offices in Doha, Qatar. The town office is located just opposite Doha sea port and close to Doha International Airport. Offering warehouse solutions and outside storage, a second office is located in the heart of Doha’s industrial area.
The location in Doha is part of Blue Water’s strategy to strengthen its position in the Middle East – already having a solid foundation in the U.A.E. with offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Jebel Ali. Qatar’s role as global supplier of oil and gas is growing, increasing the need for professional transport solutions as well as special services such as project & heavy lift transport as well as offshore container rentals.
Comprehensive services
Blue Water Qatar offers all kinds of sea, air and land freight including project forwarding. Along with local support services, Blue Water provides one stop shopping to its clients’ logistics and shipping requirements. Further to this, an extensive network of Blue Water offices worldwide, enables the group to offer client specific door to door solutions.
Land transport is handled by Blue Water’s own fleet of trucks and trailers, and both local distribution as well as traffic to GCC destinations can be arranged.
To cover a growing demand for offshore containers, Blue Water offers local rental services of anything from 8” mini units to 20” square baskets. All units are certified and approved for offshore use.
In cooperation with Blue Water Far East, a special trade lane from China has been established. A further speciality of Blue Water is the export of cars to worldwide destinations.
To complete the package, Blue Water’s experienced staff offers storage and warehousing, survey, packing and removals as well as customs clearance, export documentation and a favourable marine insurance.
