Piping Supply Scandinavia

Ferrostaal is a global group of companies based in Munich, Germany.
We are specialized in providing among others the oil and gas industries with the very best product range of piping and piping equipment – durable in any environment for any purpose.

We finance and deliver complete pipeline equipment with all the essential accessories for the oil and gas industry: pipes, flanges, and valves right down to cleaning and inspection systems. To this end we manage the procurement, storage, delivery and logistics.

One current example of a business contract underway is an underwater pipeline 130 metres below the Caspian Sea, which is the second pipeline that we have delivered to the state-owned Azerbaijani oil company SOCAR. Underwater pipelines on this kind need to comply with high technical requirements. This is why we are a sought partner for projects like these.

The state-owned oil company of Azerbaijan, SOCAR, is building a pipeline network for the country's oil and gas supply as a feed pipe to the large Baku-Ceyhan and Baku-Erzerum pipelines. Linked to this the extension of the previous pipeline from Neft Dashlary to Güneshli has been initiated, which is also a project that Ferrostaal is going to carry out. The pipes for this project are made from special steel and are coated in special polyethylene, which permits additional concrete coating.

The pipes were laid in the Caspian Sea in February 2007 using a special pipe laying ship. Apart from the pipes we also supplied all other the pipe components required, such as fittings and flanges, a special underwater pivot flange system, ball valves, pig trap stations and cleaning pigs. Gas started flowing through this pipeline in the summer of 2007.

Seamless pipes
In our warehouse, we stock seamless pipes up to 24'' in the high and low-temperature range. The pipes are according to ASTM and API in the complete schedule series (even thick wall Sch 160 and XXS is available from stock.) Pipes according to other specifications (e.g. EN / DIN / GOST / TU) or of other materials (alloy, stainless steel) can also be supplied by us in a short time.

Welded Pipes
Welded pipes are used especially for pipeline constructions and for larger dimensions in the process plants; any specifications and qualities are part of our supply program. For example, we supply carbon steel pipes according to API 5L X60, X65, X70 for pipeline projects throughout the world as well as welded stainless steel, special alloys pipes for chemical and petrochemical plants.

Whenever the supply and delivery of pipes are concerned, we are in the foremost competitive position even on an international scale.

Fitting
We have our own extensive warehouse of butt-weld fittings up to 24" of high-temperature and low-temperature qualities: elbows, tes, concentric and eccentric reducers, caps.

The delivery program for forged fittings comprises the whole assortment of 3,000 and 6,000 lbs of ½'' to 2''.

Any other dimensions and other materials (alloy and stainless steel, special alloy) are, of course, also included in our delivery program.

Flanges
We are one of the major stockists within the ANSI range.Thus, high and low-temperature flanges up to 24'' for pressure rating of 150 lbs, 300 lbs, 600 lbs, 900 lbs and 1,500 lbs are kept on stock.
